Navya Nair

Navya Nair (born Dhanya Veena) is an Indian actress who has appeared predominantly in Malayalam films.

Personal life

Navya Nair was born in Muthukulam, a village near Haripad in Alappuzha district, Kerala. Navya's parents are Mr. Raju, a telecom employee, and Veena, a school teacher. She performed well in school before focusing on film career. She studied dance at a young age, and has won the Kalathilakam title in Alappuzha District Schools Youth Festival. She is a graduate in BA English.[1][2]

Navya Nair married Santhosh Menon, a Mumbai settled Malayali, in 21 January 2010 and the couple have a son born the same year.[3] Famous Malayalm film Director K. Madhu is her Maternal Uncle.

Film career

Navya Nair started her film career with Ishtam in 2001 and later acted in the 2002 Malayalam film, Nandanam.[4][5]

After marriage Nair made a come back to television programs.[6][7][8]
