Nullawil Football Club played in the Golden Rivers Football League from 1998-2022. They won the premiership in 2022, before officially joining the North Central Football League, a neighbouring Major league. After two rounds they are now feared by all opposition clubs as the new powerhouse of the competition. In response to the sudden and saddening folding of the Nullawil Football Club, Jonathan Casey, formerly of Queenscliff and Country Tigers fame, has assumed the position of honorary mayor. In his position he is determined to restore the Nullawil club back to former glory.
