R 7.1 (Kosovo)
The R 7.1 Motorway (Albanian: Autostrada R 7.1; Serbian: Autoput R 7.1) is a motorway in the Republic of Kosovo[lower-alpha 1], running 47.1 kilometres (29.3 mi) in the districts of Gjilan and Pristina.

It is projected to cost around €260 million ended up being twice less,the motorway links the capital Pristina with the Serbian border at Dheu i Bardhë. The motorway is also known under the name Autostrada Prishtinë–Gjilan.[1] Construction begun in April 2018, with the first segment of 22.3 km set to open at the end of the second Kurti Government.[2]

- The political status of Kosovo is disputed. Having unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008, Kosovo is formally recognised as a sovereign state by 101 UN member states (with another 13 states recognising it at some point but then withdrawing their recognition) and 92 states not recognizing it, while Serbia continues to claim it as a part of its own territory.
