Rory Amon
Roderick "Rory" Amon is an Australian politician who has served as a Councillor on the Northern Beaches Council since 2017. He has been elected as the state member for Pittwater in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly.

Personal life
Amon was born to Alexe and Guy Amon, who operated a Mona Vale small business for nearly twenty years. Amon has been a resident of the Northern Beaches for nearly forty years.[2]
Career
Amon attended Covenant Christian School in Belrose and studied Commerce and Law at Macquarie University, graduating with first class honours in Law. He worked as a paralegal during university and was admitted as a Solicitor to the New South Wales Supreme Court.[2] Since working as a solicitor, he has specialised in family law.[3]
