Overview

The story follows the journey of seven individuals from different parts of India who come together to fight for the liberation of Goa, which was still under Portuguese colonial rule at the time. The main character is Anwar Ali, played by Amitabh Bachchan, a young man from Bihar who is passionate about the cause of Indian independence.

The Seven Patriots are a diverse group of people with their own unique backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities, who share a common goal of achieving independence for Goa and ending Portuguese colonial rule. The group decides to carry out a plan to hoist the Indian flag in the heart of Goa, a bold move that could potentially trigger a violent response from the Portuguese authorities.

The film portrays their journey as they navigate their way through the complex political and social landscape of Goa, encountering a variety of characters and situations along the way. They face challenges and conflicts both from within and outside the group, testing their resolve and beliefs. As they progress towards their goal, they are joined by more people who share their vision of a free India. "Saat Hindustani" is a powerful portrayal of the struggle for independence in India and a testament to the spirit of the people who fought for their freedom.[4]
