Sam Durrant

Samuel Joseph David Durrant (born 16 February 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Sheffield Wednesday.

Career

Early career

Durrant played for both Everton and Liverpool youth teams.[3] He joined Blackburn Rovers on 29 June 2018 on a two-year scholarship, plus a one-year professional contract.[4] He signed an additional one-year contract until 2022 on 9 July 2021.[5] He was released by Blackburn Rovers in their retained list on 20 May 2022.[6]

Sheffield Wednesday

Durrant joined Sheffield Wednesday on 24 June 2022, joining the clubs under-21 side.[7] He made the first team squad against Oxford United on 7 April before making his Wednesday debut against Derby County on the final day of the season coming off the bench for Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.[8][9]
