This violent fast moving nighttime-wedge tornado would devastate a 54 mile long path, the tornado reached peak intensity where it swept away a home, the damage in this location was rated a low-end EF4 intensity. The tornado entered Marion County where 1 person was killed and another one was injured, a church suffered severe damage and thousands of trees were snapped like popsicles sticks.
