Styaks Swamp

Styaks Swamp is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. It erupted approximately 19,600 years ago[1] and formed an explosion crater around 200 metres (660 ft) wide with a surrounding tuff ring. It is located north of Green Hill. The crater once contained a swamp but is now covered by industrial development.

The former site of Styaks Swamp in East Tāmaki, which has since been developed as an industrial area
