The Sulphur Springs School District is an elementary school district in Los Angeles County, California. It serves the east side of the Santa Clarita Valley, including most of Canyon Country. As of 2023, the district has 9 elementary schools.

The district's headquarters are located off Via Princessa in Canyon Country, near the Via Princessa Metrolink station.

All SSSD schools are within Santa Clarita city limits, except for Mint Canyon Community School, which is in an unincorporated area.[2] Schools within the Sulphur Springs School District refer to themselves as "community schools," unlike schools in the Saugus and Newhall school districts which refer to themselves as "elementary schools."

Student demographics

As of the 2022-23 school year, 5,210 students were enrolled in Sulphur Springs District schools. 57.7% of students were Hispanic or Latino, 19.8% were non-Hispanic white, 6.1% were Filipino, 5.9% were African American, 4.9% were multiracial, 3.9% were Asian American, 0.3% were Indigenous American, and 0.1% were Pacific Islander.[3]
