Syed Sheh Shahabudin

Tun Syed Sheh bin Syed Abdullah Shahabudin (28 February 1912 – 31 January 1969) was the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Penang, Malaysia from 1967 to 1969.

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Syed Abdullah Shahabudin is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Syed Sheh. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
