Tyler, Missouri
Tyler is an unincorporated community in Pemiscot County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] The community is on County Road 570 approximately four miles east-southeast of Cooter. The Mississippi River is 1.5 miles to the east. Cottonwood Point on the bank of the Mississippi is three miles to the northeast.[2]
History
A post office called Tyler was established in 1891, and remained in operation until 1954.[3] The community has the name of H. A. Tyler, a businessperson in the lumber industry.[4]
