Programming

WMGH has an AOR format focusing heavily on music from the 1960's thru the 1990's, with music from the 2000's thru today mixed in. It focuses very heavily on album tracks in addition to the Classic Rock favorites. WMGH also has a few special weekly programs that air exclusively here. WMGH also gives local traffic and weather reports frequently around the clock.

Monday Nights 6pm to 9pm: Rockin' With Roadkill. All 1960's to 1980's Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal.

Saturday Nights 9pm to Midnight: Stuck In The 80's With Ann Marie Calabrese. All 1980's Music of all genres.

Sunday Mornings 10am to 1pm: Magic Polka Machine with Joe Manjack who has been doing his Polka radio shows since 1974.

Signal

WMGH signal is limited somewhat to Schuylkill, Carbon, Luzerne, as well as parts of Berks, and Lehigh Counties due to the mountainous terrain and the fact that its a Class A station with a 1,400 Watt powered transmitter. The tower is located in Barnesville, Pennsylvania just outside of Tamaqua, its city of license.

Competition

WMGH has no local competition being the only local station in the area with any type of Rock leaning format. WAVT-FM is the only other local music station but broadcasts a Hot AC format with little to no overlap in music content.
