Franklin County, Mississippi

Franklin County is a county found in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2010 census, 8,118 people lived there.[1] Its county seat is Meadville.[2] The county was founded on December 21, 1809 and named for Founding Father Benjamin Franklin.[3]
