Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef is one of the largest coral reefs in the world.[1] It is off the North West Cape in Western Australia. It is about 260 km (162 mi) long.

Ningaloo has about 200 species of hard coral and 50 species of soft coral.[2] More than 520 species of fish live on the reef.[2] Species that can be found at the reef include whale sharks, manta rays, humpback whales, dugongs, and Potato Cod.[2] There are also six of the world's seven sea turtles including the Green turtle, Loggerhead Sea Turtle, Hawksbill turtle and Flatback turtle.[2][3]

Marine Park

The Ningaloo Reef Marine Park covers an area of about 5000 square kilometers.[1]

The reef is popular with people from all over the world who come to go scuba diving and snorkeling.
