History

Bern had started in the late 1880s when a railroad was built through that territory.[6] It was named by Swiss immigrants after Bern, the capital of Switzerland.[7][8]

Geography

Bern is at 39°57′44″N 95°58′19″W (39.9622218, -95.9719422).[1]
