History

Beverly was first settled in 1886. It was incorporated as a city in 1904.[7] The city was named after Beverly, West Virginia, the hometown of an early settler.[8]

Geography

Beverly is at 39°0′53″N 97°58′29″W (39.014831, -97.974772).[9] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.20 square miles (0.52 km2). All of it is land.[1]

Education

Beverly is a part of USD 298 Lincoln.[10]

Beverly schools were closed because of school unification. The Beverly High School mascot was Bobcats.[11]
