Cohoes, New York

Cohoes (/kəˈhz/ kə-HOHZ) is an incorporated city located in the northeast corner of Albany County in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 16,168. In Algonquian Cohoes, means 'pine tree'.[1][2]
