History

Isabel was created in 1887.[7] Isabel was named after the daughter of a surveyor.[8]

Geography

Isabel is at 37°28′7″N 98°33′5″W (37.468706, -98.551325).[9] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2). All of it is land.[1]
