Karlsruhe
Karlsruhe (South Franconian: Kallsruh, Alemannic German: Karlsrueh or Chaarlsruei) is a city in the south-west of Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

The city lies on the eastern shore of the Rhine River and has a technical university.
