Lewes, Delaware

Lewes (// LOO-iss)[6] is a city in Delaware in the United States. It is in Sussex County, which is in the south part of the state. The city is next to the Delaware Bay and is near the Atlantic Ocean. Lewes had 2,932 people in 2000.[7]
