Ness City, Kansas
Ness City is a city in Ness County, Kansas, United States.[6] It is also the county seat of Ness County. In 2010, 1,449 people lived there.[7] Ness City is famous for its four-story Old Ness County Bank Building in downtown, and nicknamed Skyscraper of the Plains.

History
Ness City was created in 1878.[8] The town grew a lot when a railroad was built there in 1886.[9]
Geography
Ness City is at 38°27′8″N 99°54′22″W (38.452250, -99.905989).[10] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 1.02 square miles (2.64 km2). All of it is land.[1]
