Quenemo, Kansas
Quenemo is a city in Osage County, Kansas, United States. It is along the Marais des Cygnes River. In 2010, 388 people lived there.[6]

History
Quenemo was planned out around 1870.[7] Quenemo was the name of a Sac and Fox Indian chief.[8] A fire in 1878 destroyed a lot of the town. Quenemo had a lot of growth in 1884 after the AT&SF railroad was built through it.[7]
Geography
Quenemo is at 38°34′49″N 95°31′40″W (38.580413, -95.527895).[9] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.44 square miles (1.14 km2). All of it is land.[1]

Education
Quenemo is a part of USD 456 Marais des Cygnes Valley. The district high school is Marais des Cygnes Valley High School. Their mascot is the Trojans.[10]
