Rolleston, New Zealand
Rolleston is a city in the Selwyn District. It is named after Canterbury statesman William Rolleston. It has a population of 28,000 and is the third largest place in the Canterbury Region. It is 22 kilometers southwest of Christchurch. It has five primary schools and one high school that opened in January 2017. Prior to Rolleston College's opening the nearest high school was Lincoln High School. State Highway 1 runs through the city. Burnham Military Camp is located 3 kilometers west of the city centre.
