Velva, North Dakota
Velva is a city in McHenry County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 1,084 at the 2010 census.[1] It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Velva was founded in 1897 and is the birthplace of television correspondent Eric Sevareid.
