Youngstown State University

Youngstown State University is a public university in Youngstown, Ohio. The university has about 15,194 students. It was founded in 1908. The current president of the university is Jim Tressel, better known as a former football coach both at Youngstown State and Ohio State University.

Sports

The athletics teams of the university are called the Penguins. They have 16 varsity teams and they compete in the Horizon League and the Missouri Valley Football Conference for football.
