This wikiHow teaches you how to add someone else to an active FaceTime call on your iPhone or iPad.

Tap the screen on a current Facetime call.

While you're on a call, tap anywhere on the screen. This brings up several Facetime options.

Tap "Add people."

You'll see this option after tapping the screen on a call. Now you'll be able to add contacts to the call.^{[1]

Start typing the name of the person you want to add.

A list of matching contacts will appear. Alternatively, you can enter a phone number, or tap + to open your Contacts.

Select the person you want to add.

This adds the selected person to the invitation list. You can now add additional people if you'd like.

Tap "Add People."

This calls the person or people you've selected. If the selected contact(s) accepts this request, they'll be added to the FaceTime call.
