How to Change Address With Connecticut DMV

The State of Connecticut requires 48 hours notification when you have changed your address. The process to change your address with the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (CT DMV) is simple and there are several alternatives. You can change the address at the Connecticut DMV website, go directly to a CT DMV office or go to select AAA offices. Each option requires filling out the CT DMV Change of Address form.

Indicate the options you need to change by checking the appropriate box or boxes--driver's license, registration for your motor vehicle, and/or registration for your boat.

List your name under Applicant 1--surname, first name, and your middle initial. If your spouse, domestic partner, or other person is changing his address, list his name under Applicant 2.
