Your Apple ID, which is the combination of your Apple email address and a pertinent password, is essential in linking your iOS phone, tablet, and computer services together. You will enter your Apple ID password on any new Apple product, as well as on purchases made in the app store. You can change your Apple ID's password locally on your iPhone; you can also reset your Apple ID password if you forget it. Open your iPhone's "Settings" app. This app resembles a grey gear, and should be on your home screen.

Tap the "View Apple ID" option in the ensuing window. This will prompt you to enter your Apple ID password.

Enter your Apple ID password. This should be the same password you use to log into Apple services such as iTunes and the App Store.

Sign into your Apple ID account with your Apple ID email address and password. These should be the same credentials you use for iTunes and the App store.

Resetting Your Apple ID Password

Open the Apple ID account page. Use this method if you need to change your password after having forgotten it. Click the link provided to do so. If you can't remember your Apple ID password, you'll need to reset it from the official Apple ID site.
