How do they work?

  1. Snapscores are calculated using a secret formula. Snapchat hasn’t entirely revealed the factors that are used to determine a user’s Snapchat score, but they do list a few on their support page.[1]

      • Number of Snaps received
      • Posting Stories
    • Factors that might influence the score:
      • Subscribing to content creators
      • Browsing and interacting with content on the Discover page

Checking Your Score

    Tap the profile button. It’s the profile icon in the top left of Snapchat.

    Look at your score. It’s the number under your username next to a small Snapchat icon.
    • Tap your score to see the number of Snaps you’ve sent and received.

Tips for Increasing Your Score

    Send Snaps. Sending Snap pictures and videos will increase your score. Plus, receiving a Snap back will further increase the score!

    Post to your Story. Posting Snaps to your Story will increase your score. Getting into a regular habit of posting will gradually raise it.

    Add more friends. Adding friends on Snapchat means more people to exchange Snaps will, generating an even higher score.
