That process will wipe all the data and settings you've set up on the router and make it like new, including setting the admin password back to default. Power off your computer. You'll want to make sure anything that's connected to your router, like your computer, phone, tablet, and security cameras, is powered off and not actively using the network since it will disappear as the router resets.

Locate the small button labeled Reset. It's a small inset button that's typically on the back of the router.

Straighten a paper clip. You will use this to press the reset button.

Press and hold the "Reset" button. The "Power" light should blink while you're holding the button.
