The 2023 season will be the Green Bay Packers' upcoming 103rd in the National Football League, their 105th overall, their sixth under the leadership of general manager Brian Gutekunst and their fifth under head coach Matt LaFleur.

This will be the Packers' first season since 2004 without quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the roster, as he was traded to the New York Jets on April 26. Rodgers, who had been the starter since 2008, most notably won four MVPs, and led the team to five NFC Championship games and a win in Super Bowl XLV. This is expected to be the first season with Jordan Love as the starting quarterback.

Draft trades

The Packers traded QB Aaron Rodgers and their first-and fifth-round selection (15th and 170th overall) to the New York Jets in exchange for first, second and sixth-round selections (13th, 42nd and 207th overall).[2]
The Packers traded second-round selection (45th overall) to the Detroit Lions for their second and fifth-round selections (48th and 159th overall) and then traded the second-round selection (48th overall) to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for their second and sixth-round selections (50th and 179th overall).[20][21]
Los Angeles traded their seventh-round selection to Green Bay in exchange for Corey Bojorquez and a sixth-round selection.[23]
Jacksonville traded their seventh-round selection to Green Bay in exchange for Cole Van Lanen.[24]
