2023 Vietnamese Cup
The 2023 Vietnamese Cup is the 31st edition of the Vietnamese National Football Cup, the premier knockout competition in Vietnamese football. A total of 24 clubs competed in this edition, including all teams from the top two tiers of the Vietnamese football league system.

The competition began on 31 March 2023 with the first-round matches, and will be concluded on 31 August 2023 with the final. V.League 1 side Hanoi are the defending champions after defeating Binh Dinh 2–0 in the 2022 final.
The winners will play the 2023 Vietnamese Super Cup against the 2023 V.League 1 winners.
Background
This is also the last year the tournament uses the traditional year-round format. The tournament consists of 14 clubs of V.League 1 and 10 teams of V.League 2 to compete. The winning club of the tournament will play the Vietnamese Super Cup 2024 match. Hanoi FC is the defending champion after they won the 2022 Vietnamese Cup.[1]
