Grant-Leon Ranos
Grant-Leon Ranos (Armenian: Հրանտ-Լեոն Ռանոս; born 20 July 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Regionalliga Bayern club Bayern Munich II. Born in Germany, Ranos represents the Armenia national team internationally.[1]

Club career
As a youth player, Ranos joined the youth academy of Borussia Dortmund, moving from the youth academy of Hannover 96 in 2018.[2] After that, he joined the Bayern Munich under–19 team.[3] In 2022, he was promoted to Bayern Munich II where he became a regular starter. [4]
International career
Born in Germany, in 2023 Ranos acquired Armenian citizenship and chose to represent Armenia internationally.[5] In March of the same year, he received his first call-up to the Armenian senior national team for a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying match against Turkey and a friendly match against Cyprus, respectively.[6]
He then won his first cap for Armenia by starting the latter game, on 28 March 2023 in the process, Ranos also scored his first two international goals, as the friendly eventually ended in a 2–2 draw.[7]

Personal life
Ranos was born in Gehrden, Germany to ethnically Armenian parents.[8]
