Guru Nanak Dev University

The university is Entitled by University Grants Commission to offer higher studies degree courses online. Guru Nanak Dev University's campus is spread over 500 acres (200 ha)[1] near village of Kot Khalsa, nearly eight km (5.0 mi) west of the Amritsar, next to Khalsa College, Amritsar. The Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has got A grade by scoring 3.85 points in National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grading, thereby becoming the only University in India to get this score. GNDU is the only State/Central/Private University in India to get this score.. [2]

Main Entrance

Guru Nanak Dev University campus is spread over 500 acres (200 ha)[3] near the village of Kot Khalsa, some eight km (5.0 mi) west of the Amritsar City on Amritsar - Lahore highway, next to Khalsa College, Amritsar.

Awards

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited the university at the five-star level. Later, it was accredited at NAAC Grade "A" with a CGPA of 3.5. Most recently, it has been accredited with NAAC CGPA 3.51, enshrined with the esteemed "University with Potential for Excellence" and "Category - 1 Autonomy" Status by UGC and MHRD respectively. In December 2022 GNDU got A grade again in NAAC by scoring 3.85 score. GNDU is the only State/Central/Private University in India to get this score. [4]
