Luhuo County

Luhuo County (simplified Chinese: 炉霍县; traditional Chinese: 爐霍縣; pinyin: Lúhuò Xiàn; Tibetan: བྲག་འགོ་རྫོང་།, Wylie: brag 'go rdzong, ZYPY: Draggo Zong) is a county of Sichuan Province, China. It is under the administration of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

History

On March 24, 1923, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck between Luhuo and Dawu and killed 4800 people. [1]

On February 6, 1973, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake occurred near Zhaggo, a town in the county. [2]
