Overview
The model was originally announced in 2021 and was teased a few times before the official reveal.[5] According to the company's CEO, Thomas Ingenlath, the Polestar 4 is not a modified version of the Polestar 3, as they “reconsidered the entire design to create a new breed of SUV coupe”.[3]
The Polestar 4 notable features no rear window, instead using a roof-mounted camera that provides footage to a digital rearview mirror.[6]
