Rawat (surname)

Rawat is a surname of people belonging to Hindu Rajput. [1] from Garhwal and Kumaon divisions in the Indian state of Uttarakhand[2] and Rajputs (Kshatriya caste) of Nepal.[3]

Rajputs, people with Rawat surname are mainly concentrated in Uttarakhand, some number of them are found.[4] in Nepal adjacent to Uttarakhand.[5]
