Andy Beshear

Andrew Graham Beshear (born November 29, 1977) is an American lawyer and politician. Beshear is the 63rd Governor of Kentucky since December 10, 2019. He was the 50th Attorney General of Kentucky from January 2016 through December 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He is the son of Steve Beshear, the 61st Governor of Kentucky.

Beshear was elected as attorney general in 2015. He was the Democratic nominee for governor in the 2019 election.[1] He beat incumbent Governor Matt Bevin on November 5, 2019 by less than 5,000 votes.[2]
