He was awarded an Order of the British Empire.[2]
Biography
When Clyde Best was 16, he moved from Bermuda to England.
He played for West Ham United F.C.[3]
Best made his first goal on 3 September 1969. He had 218 games and 58 goals with West Ham.[4][5]
Then he played in the Dutch Eredivisie for the Feyenoord.[6] Lated he joined some American teams (Tampa Bay Rowdies, Toronto Blizzard and Portland Timbers).
