El Monte, California
El Monte is a city in Los Angeles County, California. It is in the San Gabriel Valley, east of Los Angeles. At the 2010 census, 113,475 lived there. This was lower than the 2000 census, when 115,965 people lived there. The city was first incorporated in 1912. Its name means "the mountain" in Spanish.[7][8]
