Fayette County, Pennsylvania
Fayette County is a county of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Fayette County is located in southwestern Pennsylvania, near Maryland and West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 136,606.[1] Its county seat is Uniontown.[2] The county was created on September 26, 1783 and named after the Marquis de Lafayette.[3]
