Mako Komuro

Mako Komuro (小室 眞子, Komuro Mako, born 23 October 1991), formerly Princess Mako of Akishino (眞子内親王, Mako Naishinnō), is the first child and elder daughter of Prince Fumihito and Princess Kiko. She used to be a member of the Japanese imperial family.

She is the niece of Emperor Naruhito, and is the oldest grandchild of Emperor Emeritus Akihito and Empress Emerita Michiko.

She married Kei Komuro, a lawyer, on 26 October 2021. Japanese law removed her from the royal family because she married a commoner.[1][2]
