Richard Fischer
Richard Fischer (27 January 1917 – 1969) was an Austrian footballer. He played for First Vienna FC. He also played for the Austrian national football team[1]

Career
During the occupation of Austria through Nazi-Germany he was with Vienna 3 times winner of the Gauliga Donau-Alpenland. One time he reached the final of the German Championship (0-2 versus Schalke 04) and one time he won the Tschammer-Cup (1943).
After 16 seasons for First Vienna FC, one season (1934/35) for the third-rate Nussdorfer AC and two seasons (1948/49 and 1949/50) for the first-class Floridsdorfer AC, he ended his 19-year football career at the age of 35.
International
Richard Fischer played 3 matches for the Austrian national football team. His first match was a 3-2 loss versus Czechoslowakia on 24 October 1937. His last one was a 5-2 loss versus Hungary on 20 August 1945. [2]
Manager
From 1958 to 1960 he was manager of First Vienna FC.
