Cardet (French pronunciation: [kaʁdɛ]; Occitan: Cardet) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France.

Cardet has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa). The average annual temperature in Cardet is 14.6 °C (58.3 °F).
