Marston, Quebec

Marston is a township municipality in Le Granit Regional County Municipality in the Estrie region in Quebec, Canada. A township municipality is all or part of the territory of a township (townships were originally only a land surveying feature) set up as a municipality.

It is named after Long Marston, North Yorkshire in England.[4]

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Marston had a population of 777 living in 341 of its 419 total private dwellings, a change of 10.2% from its 2016 population of 705. With a land area of 71.83 km2 (27.73 sq mi), it had a population density of 10.8/km2 (28.0/sq mi) in 2021.[5]
