Lee Dong Gun es un actor y cantante nacido el 16 de julio de 1980 en kang Nam ,Seúl, Corea del sur. Su nombre en ingles es Emmanuel Lee pero su nombre en coreano es Lee Dong Gun (Lee Dong Geon). Su sobre nombre es el de suegra o tío. Tiene una estatura de 184 cm y un peso de 65 kg. Su signo zodiacal es Leo y su grupo sanguíneo tipo A. Estuvo un tiempo saliendo con su co-protagonista de Sweet 18 Han Ji Hye. El 20 de marzo del 2008 su hermano menor fu asesinado esto ocasiono suspender temporalmente la grabación de la serie When It's At Night (MBC-2008) que protagoniza junto con la actriz Kim Sun Ah (Mi adorable Kim Sam-soon). Curso estudios en la Universidad de Hanyang Departamento de Teatro y Cine. Habla varios idiomas además del Coreano habla también el japonés e inglés.
