Brookings, South Dakota
Brookings is a city in the U.S. state of South Dakota. It is the county seat of Brookings County, and 22,056 people lived there at the 2010 census.[1] The mayor of Brookings is Tim Reed. Brookings was founded in 1883.[3] The city of Brookings was named after Wilmot Wood Brookings, a pioneer promoter.
