How to Change an Address on Groupon on iPhone or iPad

The Groupon app helps you find coupons and discounts for stores and services near you. This wikiHow teaches you how to edit your shipping or billing address in Groupon, as well as how to change the address Groupon uses to display featured deals in your area.

Changing a Shipping Address

Tap the Groupon app to open it. Look for the green letter "G" on a white background.
- As long as your order has not been marked as shipped by Groupon, you can update your address using the Groupon website. You'll usually have about 2 hours from the time of purchase to change the address.^{[1]

- You won't be able to change the address once the order has shipped. You may be able to contact the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx) for assistance.

Tap My Stuff. It's the icon of a person at the bottom-right corner of the screen. A menu will expand.

Tap My Groupons. Choose this option if you did not pay for your Groupon order with Apple Pay. It's the option with a price tag icon at the top of the screen.
- If you paid for your Groupon order with Apple Pay, select Customer Support instead.

Tap the order you want to edit. The details will appear.

Tap Edit Order or Edit on the order. The option you see depends on how you paid for the order, and you may have to scroll down to find it. This displays the information you can change about your order, including the shipping address.

Update your shipping address as needed. As long as you see the option to edit your shipping address, you can be sure that the update will take effect before the item is shipped.

Tap Save. It's at the bottom of the screen. Your info is now updated.

Changing the Search Area Address

Tap the Groupon app to open it. Look for the green letter "G" on a white background.
- Use this method if you want to change the address/location Groupon uses to display local deals.

Tap the Search icon. It's the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the current location. It's next to the "Search" box at the top of the screen. It may contain the name of a city, address, or the words "Near me."

Type the new address into the search field. As you type, a list of matching addresses will appear below the search field.
- You can also tap Use My Location under the search bar to allow Groupon to automatically find deals near you. Depending on whether Location Services are already enabled, this may bring up a prompt asking you to enable them. Tap Settings and then choose whether to let the Groupon app access your location while you're using it, at all times, or not at all.
- Groupon displays the last few addresses you've entered on the Search page under "Recent Places." Simply tap on one of the addresses to make it your current one.

Tap an address in the search results. Now that you've chosen an address, you'll return to the regular "Search" screen.

Tap Featured to view deals near your new address. It's the "G" icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Changing a Billing Address

Tap the Groupon app to open it. Look for the green letter "G" on a white background.
- Use this method if you've recently updated your address through your bank and need to update your card info in Groupon.

Tap My Stuff. It's the icon of a person at the bottom-right corner of the screen. A menu will expand.

Tap Payment Methods. It's the credit card icon about halfway down the menu. A list of your saved payment methods will appear.

Tap Edit. It's at the top-right corner of the screen. This displays a pencil icon to the right of each listed account.

Tap the pencil icon on the account you want to update. The account's details will appear.

Update your billing address. Make sure the address matches the address you've provided to the issuer.
- If you've received a new card, make sure its expiration date matches what you see on this page. You may need to update it as well.

Tap Save. It's the green button at the bottom of the screen. Your account info is now up-to-date.
