Kermit, Texas
Kermit is a city in the state of Texas in the United States. It is the county seat of Winkler County. About 5,690 people lived there in 2010. After Theodore Roosevelt came to the city, it was named for his son Kermit Roosevelt.[1] On July 16, 1926, after discovery of oil in the Hendrick oil field near Kermit, the city grew quickly.[2]
