Tupelo, Mississippi
Tupelo is a city in northeastern Mississippi. It is close to the Alabama state line. At the 2010 U.S. census, 34,546 people lived in Tupelo. The city is famous because Elvis Presley was born there. In 1936, a strong tornado struck the area.
